It's that time of the year when West point Cadets meet the Midshipmen from Annapolis in the annual tradition of the ARMY-NAVY game. This year is special, NAVY is showcasing their new uniforms, the old NAVY ensign. Yes, it is the flag that was reserved for the oldest active ship in the fleet until G.W. Bush signed a presidential order after 9/11 for all Naval ships to fly it as their Ensign.
Here are some pictures of their game uniforms.
So Senior only has one thing to say "
GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY!!!!!!
Senior
Senior - i loooooove the navy's new uniforms - they are super cool!!! but, being as i was army, i am gonna have to cheer for Army! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletemuch love to you and yours, always! your friend,
kymber
But don't the midshipmen know that DHS has declared that flag a sign of domestic terrorism? (snerk)
ReplyDeleteActually, I don't mind, as long as the only terror is in the hearts of the Army fellers. Go Navy!
I hope all the wingnuts running loose out there leave the game alone. Seems like nothing is considered sacred anymore if it suits some a**h**** to disrupt it.
ReplyDeleteAnd they did!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey, Senior Chief. Just wanted to come by and wish you and your family a happy holiday season, your first at your new place.
